A Very Strange Thought...

Disclaimer: I don't claim this to be true, but just a thought recently that resonated strongly.

What if we are not really in a matrix, but actually in a video game.

The controller is God who is yourself playing as yourself.

So in a weird this may all just be a virtual reality after all.

The 'real world' may just be a virtual world.

Bizzare to think that this world is just a video game being played by our 'real selves' on the other side.

My intuition tells me that this may be very close to being the 'truth.'

And perhaps there may be some special condition to wake up to our 'real self.'

A ritual possibly, even death or a special amount of correct patterns...

What do you guys think, George you are welcome to chime in :)

Haha, let me check this out I'll get back to you on this.

Update

Just started reading this and I'm already getting 'chills.'

I get these chills when I am reading some sort of spooky truth.

Kinda like reading a mystery novel and finding out the truth that kind of chill.

You even knew my cooky self would like this sort of thing haha, that's brilliant!

You deserve commissions for this :)

Hard to make much of this.

The biggest thing that stood out to me was "the greatest con someone can do to you is convincing them they are you."

Back to the main subject if you convince the enemy/a person they are God, that is one of the deadliest things you can do.

This creates a mind-fuck making any person want to kill their own self.

Definitely a clash of what's what.

I view it as somewhat of an adventure. I even have a Google Docs page where I have created a point system and I add points daily to various areas of my lie based on good performance/habits/actions - like a personal rating system you would find in a game. So I play basketball, I add 1. I play basketball really well, I add 2. I astound myself in basketball, I add 3.

And from this sense I try to get the max out of life. After every achievement, you add significantly more points to your document.

You update it daily, it will be pretty eye opening to see how you're improving across the course of a full year even if there are an infinite number of moments where you feel down, frustrated, etc.

I wonder if some day I just sort of tune everything up to infinity and say I am not separate from God, Lol.

Deep inside is your God self

Outside is your "pretend self" which most assume is their "real self"

Your ego stands between ostensibly protecting your "pretend self" which you think is your "real self."

(That movie, Revolver, was basically a giant metaphor for killing the ego, told within a "con artist" story).

If you ignore your ego, face your fears, pain, etc, you will find your God self on the other side.

The POINT OF LIFE is to discover your God self. Not through a simple meditation, or ritual. It's meant take a lifetime (if at all)

Otherwise, what would be the point of everybody having an easy accessible switch to find their inner God self?

The ego thrives on SEPARATION. Our ego makes us think we are all separate entity. It will scream bloody murder if it thinks you are about to defeat it.

Breaking through the ego helps us see ALL OF US are part of "God's Debris" as postulated in the Ebook.

Again, I believe knowing this is one thing. Experiencing it once or twice is another.

But realizing it on a deep, unconscious level so that EGO IS GONE is what they mean by "enlightenment."

When your ego is gone for good.

This takes a LIFETIME. Few have ever achieved it. (Buddha, Jesus, for example, according to what mythology one subscribes to, etc)

Death of course, but there's the theory that we KEEP COMING BACK until we can achieve it. (Again based, on what mythology, religion one believes).

You KNOW it's there.

Can you access it regularly? Openly? Honestly? Congruently? Regularly?

Very nicely written.

I see what you are saying.

On the ego part, is it literally ONE ORGANISM or just another way to say our lives are greatly dependent on our relations to one another.

True.

On Death, what you said is what I did see in my vision or voice can't tell right now.

What's funny about death,

I have seen a few movies that once a human realized they are eternal beings,

they actually lost their minds as a result and wanted to kill themselves again and again.

It was too much to handle apparently.

I can see why of course. We have been fed with all sorts of lies, so the truth hurts like hell.

Of course, I will do my best to reach that level of enlightenment hopefully it doesn't kill me :)

Consider this idea:

Suppose BEFORE we became human, we KNOW the truth of everything.

And the REASON we decided to become human was to experience the fear, pain,  uncertainty anxiety that is the flip side of joy, love, compassion, fulfillment, etc.

And the IDEAL SITUATION as humans (as designed by us BEFORE we became humans) was to fully live AS HUMANS while ONLY periodically "remembering" who we are.

And what if the ego was NEVER MEANT to be removed? WE PUT IT THERE TO KEEP US HUMAN. To experience a full human life. Because we KNEW if that we discovered who we TRULY are, we would start "chasing" enlightenment and not fully experience the day to day complexities of life?

It's been said that "they" who created us put our greatest gifts behind our greatest fears, because THAT is the LAST PLACE we would look.

But what if WE OURSELVES put them there, so we would have to STRUGGLE our entire lives to find them?

Oh, this sings The Eden Cycle to me!

That's pretty interesting. Perhaps we were once among the Gods and we got 'bored.'

So, we decided to let's become simple humans again to fully understand what it means to be 'alive' again.

There is a possibility that we wanted to return to a lower life form to rediscover what the point of life is all about.

Maybe we didn't know what else to do in paradise so we departed into this current state.

I can see that. Life still needs to sustain itself by some kind of means.

Now by the last place do you mean our own minds or a physical death?

Very interesting, from birth to adult, to older adults, and back to babies if we fail to become all that we were meant to become...

That is a hard theory to really prove if it's even true. But it no longer seems improbable lol.

I am not a big fan of the struggle option because both paths seem to have it's own sets of struggles.

So, I'd rather just pick the enlightenment route anyways.

Because if we are going to struggle anyways why not strive to become the greatest thing possible in life.

This is definitely not a goal for all.

Personally, I don't feel like I have much of an option here.

Enlightenment Route vs Mundane Route.

I didn't fit in the Mundane Route anyways.

So Enlightenment suits me much better!

That's a pretty cool system you got going there, bro.

Maybe one day I will do something similar :)

The only way you prove that theory is right or wrong is, yourself. You have an impossible dream, and you shoot in that direction like it's possible.

I am Batman. That's my dream.

or Whatever your impossible dream is.

Like Elon Musk went - "Eh, I don't think we should leave it up to the Gov to figure out Mars. I will start a company to create settlements on Mars :) "

You get the idea.

I really like this theory, but not enough people have dared dream the impossible. If you restrict yourself to say, Love and Money (which are two very real needs, no doubt), humanity can't really evolve to this phase as our basic needs aren't even taken care of.

I remember when I was much younger watching a show on like HBO or Showtime. It was called "The Mysterious Stanger"

and it was based on a Mark Twain story that he was writing just before he passed from this world.

This is a link to youtube vid from that movie where the stranger explains the nature of reality.

  • 3 months later...

The mental juices are running deeply here on this post, interesting what if this is hell what if we are already actually dead? what if our soul wishes to quicken once again and taste deeply that nectar of life once more? what if we are like rats caught in a dark maze  trying to get out, but are caught bound in a vicious circle .

Now that would be hell or wouldn't it?

saying that anything is possible including the above paradise or hell is of our entire making and i tend to enjoy every minute of it . :D
