https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Nov02Post.mp4 A long, long time ago, humans were "persistence hunters." Or more accurately, proto-humans were persistence hunters. This is why we evolved hairless sweaty bodies and arched feet. Arched feet to absorb the shock of jogging or running. Sweaty and hairless so we could bleed off body heat. The animals we chased after couldn't do this. They would sprint up ahead, overheat, and have to stop and pant. Eventually, we'd catch up. Like an ancient tortoise vs. hare death match. This was HOW we got energy.

https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Jan29Post.mp4 The relationship between thoughts and words is complex. There are some folks who have brilliant minds, and write brilliant books, but they are less than inspiring speakers. Then there are some that are powerful speakers, but their minds are average. These folks tend to get others to write their speeches for them. Every time you see a politician go off on a rant, like they often do during congressional hearings, you can bet on two things. One, is that somebody else helped them come up with those words. Two, is th

https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Oct04Post.mp4 The stone age ended and the bronze age started when ancient humans figured out how to use metal. Most historians figured it was by accident. Most groundbreaking discoveries are by accident. Most of the tech inventions of the 70's were unexpected byproducts of the space race in the late 60's. Bronze and other metals exist as ore. Mixed in with rocks. They suspect that somebody had a fire, like they normally did. And they found that part the rock melted out when it got hot. And reformed. And the ref

There are a lot of interesting metaphysical questions. One is the old one about the tree falling in the forest. If it does, and nobody is there, does it make a sound? The actual answer, from science, is no, it does not. How can this be? Sound, and everything else we "perceive" are really internally generated. In order for "sound" to exist, there has to be a measuring device. If a tree falls, it will make pressure waves vibrate through the air. Those happen whether somebody there or not. But in order for this pressure waves to be turned into sound, t

Once upon a time, there was no money. Now there is tons of money. Even in the last few years, there has been a lot of NEW money. Crypto-money. Invented essentially from scratch. Every day in the FOREX markets, there are trillions of dollars traded. Your blood cells go around your body. They pick up energy in the form of food and oxygen. Deliver the energy to the cells that need it. And then they turn around and transport the waste out. Without blood, and the cells within it, you'd be dead. Money serves the same purpose. Goods flow aro

Imagine if you lived on a planet where nobody knew anything about exercise. Maybe they'd been in a post industrial, post information society for a few thousand years. And for some reason, all the records of exercise and the affect of physical movement on the body had vanished from the historical records. Imagine further they thought that being tall was like being strong. You were either tall or short. You were either strong or not. You could either run a long ways without getting winded or you couldn't. And then you came along. And calmly explained that

Hello Everybody, May I ask which brainwave should I listen to while meditating for receiving insight / answers / solutions to a particular question I have in my mind? My guess would be gamma and hyper-gamma. What does everyone else think? Thank you. SH
