The other day I went to buy some horseradish.
I looked at the ingredients, and plenty different kinds of horseradish had corn of some kind.
Corn starch, high fructose corn syrup, and other types of corn.
Why is there so much corn in our food?
The answer is pretty simple.
And, believe it or not, it goes all the way back to the Great Depression.
The one that happened nearly a hundred years ago.
Why in the heck do events from a hundred years ago make it likely to find corn based ingredients in horseradish?
