  3. https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Dec02Post.mp4 There are two basic models to look at the evolution of human society. Note this is NOT about the evolution of humans. Assuming we started being humans about 200,000 years, there are some very simple "categories" to place humans in this history. One model is our use of energy. Long before we were humans, we discovered fire. Fire was important for two reasons. One, we used it to cook our food. This was kind of like "pre-digesting" it before we ate it. This gave us a lot of extra time. Since this BEFORE our brains got very big, we can assume that while we had all that extra time, whatever we were doing pushed our brain bigger and bigger. What, specifically, was this? The most important thing for all animals is getting food. So when humans were not eating, they were hunting. Critically, they started hunting with fire. Lighting fires in one place, knowing which direction the animals would run. This required abstract thinking and planning. Driving our brains bigger and bigger. Humans are also hierarchical. And since we could use fire to hunt strategically, or otherwise hunt strategically, how did we determine who was at the TOP of the hierarchy? Whoever had the best ideas. Think of a bunch of humans looking at a wooly mammoth. They wouldn't have just run screaming at the animal, everybody doing their own thing and hoping for the best. SOMEBODY had a plan. Well, probably a few people had a plan. But just like a bunch of engineers arguing over the best design for a new product, the BEST plan was chosen through an idea contest. The group considers each idea, and the best one wins. The guy who CONSISTENTLY comes up with the BEST idea is going to be the leader. This is true in modern engineering companies as much as it was back in the days of hunters and gatherers. How society evolved can be described by HOW these idea contests played out. First, it was in hunting. Who could best get the most ENERGY. Then we invented agriculture. This is when things kind of changed. Back in the days of hunter gatherers, they were nomads. But in agriculture, the energy was grown. In the same piece of land. For many, many years. This meant the alpha of agriculture could pass on this "alpha standing" to their kids. For the first time in our human history, humans could INHERIT alpha status. Or "noble blood" as they called it. Back in the days of hunter-gatherers, every generation WAS an alpha contest. Being SON of an alpha didn't mean squat back then. But every since agriculture it was possible to INHERIT alpha standing, but not demonstrate alpha behavior. This is still true today, thousands of years later. This is why just being rich isn't enough. Just having the right looks or the right clothes aren't enough. But if you understand WHAT those ancient, pre-agriculture alpha characteristics are, AND replicate them, you can CLEAN UP. Learn How: https://mindpersuasion.com/social-dominance/
  4. https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Dec01Post.mp4 One word that we humans LOVE to use is "should." The solution to pretty much any problem, large or small, is the word "should." Fast on the heels of that common "solution" word is the word "we." For example, suppose you're walking down the street with your buddy. And there is litter everywhere. And you use a common structure to "solve" this litter problem. "Wow, we need to do a better job of putting trash in the trash cans." People like the word "we" because it sounds like "we" are all in this together. But unless the person using the word "we" is a proud member of the littering people, that's not what they REALLY mean. What they really mean is "they" need to do a better job putting trash in the trash can instead of on the street. This brings up the comfortable word "should." As in "they" should stop doing whatever they're doing. If you listen carefully to any intellectual coming up intellectual ideas about how to "fix" society, you'll see this structure. "We" "should" do things differently. It's merely a polite way of saying "they" should do things differently. But here's the thing. Nobody wakes up and thinks: "Hmm, I wonder what those other people think I should do today?" Nobody plans their activities and behaviors based on what other people think they SHOULD do. Here's a mental experiment to help understand. Pick one thing you think people "should" do or "shouldn't" do. And imagine looking at a group of people. And imagine telling them directly: "Hey, you guys shouldn't do that." And imagine them saying: "Why not?" Or: "Yeah, what if we want to?" Long time ago, I used to sell cars. I'd talk to people for HOURS. Literally. I'd find out all about their financial situation, relationships, etc. And from my perspective, buying a new car made PERFECT sense. I knew they'd like it. I knew they could afford it. But when I looked them in the eye and said: "You should buy this car!" They said: "Yeah, I dunno...." It turns out the word "should" isn't the magic we all pretend it is. Why do we like it so much? We love to PRETEND we have power. We love to PRETEND that the genius of our ideas is ENOUGH. That if we only explain ourselves, people will take our super genius ideas and suddenly realize they've been doing it wrong. Why do we like to pretend we have this kind of magical powers of others? Because this is the prime directive of humans. To get as much hierarchical dominance as possible. The higher up you get, the better EVERYTHING is. Unfortunately, this instinct is being fed by pretend, fake ideas. But if you can figure out how to get REAL hierarchical dominance? That is REAL power. Not PRETEND power. 5. https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Nov25Post.mp4 It's common, and fun, to have staring contests as kids. This is the one "sport" that is open to everybody. Sports, or any athletic competition is not. Any kind of educational competition is not. Even many games requires some basic learning and practice. A guy who's played a few dozen games of checkers against somebody who's never played isn't even. But staring contests are open to everybody. Sometimes they are planned. Sometimes they are spontaneous. And it's easy to "cheat." To stare into their eyes and think about other stuff. The color of their eyes, the shape of their pupil. Many salesmen are trained to maintain stable, neutral eye contact while listening to sales objections. But they are also trained to think about things like what they are going to have for dinner, etc. Kids, of course, know it's easy to do this. So kids, naturally, measure the winner of staring contests by who BLINKS first. So even if you are zoning out by thinking of the latest movie, you MUST blink eventually. Even in planetary wide contests, the word, "he blinked first" indicates the OTHER GUY maintained FRAME DOMINATION. Kennedy vs. the Russians during the Cuban missile crisis, for example. This idea of "maintaining frame dominance" can be found anywhere. For example, if you want to buy something, but you want to get the cheapest price. The prime directive is say and do NOTHING when they mention the price. Remain plain faced after, so they have to GUESS how you are responding. All of this surrounds the idea of eye contact. Most normal people are very WEAK when it comes to eye contact. Most guys will be enjoying the physical beauty of a women, only to run for the hills (metaphorically) if they are "caught" looking. Once a couple of buddies of mine suddenly became hyper-interested in the bumper of his car. I was wondering what the heck was going on, until I saw a pretty lady strolling in our direction. They set a completely FAKE reason to crouch in the same spot JUST SO they would have a legitimate reason to watch the pretty lady walk by. The problem with this strategy is that ladies are WAY more capable of reading body language than men give them credit. Yes, they know you are checking them out. They KNOW you are hiding the fact. This is a blatantly demonstrated WEAK frame. What is a strong frame? The easiest frame to demonstrate? The most POWERFUL fame she'll encounter? Positive, stable, openly appreciative, non-creepy, non-judgmental eye contact. This is much, much, more of an inner game. This can be practiced many, many times per day. Anywhere, anytime. Build up this strength, and give pretty ladies a gift they'll remember forever. Learn More: https://mindpersuasion.com/seductive-eye-contact/
  6. https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Mar18Post.mp4 All problems of modern society can be described as "instinct-mismatch." Back in the day, we were ALWAYS hungry. That was good. The HUNGRIER you were, the more motivated you were to get out and kill something. Not only to get out and kill something, but to eat AS MUCH as you could whenever you had a chance. PERFECT for the time before. Really, really horrible for modern society. Most other instincts are like this. Fantastic back in the day, horrible today. Social signals, relationships, social status, all perfectly calibrated for primitive times. All being horrifically misfired today. Probably the ONLY instinct that serves us is fear of dangerous animals. If we saw a tiger following us today, it would scare the crap out of us JUST LIKE back in the day. Of course, this is a pretty useless instinct as not a lot of people see tigers on their morning walk. But on a meta-level, we are much less likely to make the necessary TRANSITIONS we did back in the day. Way back in the day, we transitioned from being DEPENDENT to being PROVIDERS. If you were a slacker back in the day, you'd left behind. Today, finding out ways to game the system is a fantastic career choice. Especially if you're a banker! One way this plays out is how we MEASURE ourselves. If you were a little kid back in the day, AND today, your self worth was based on how well, or how poorly, other people treated you. Eventually, usually when you were old enough to walk around on your own, you started to DEFINE your self worth. There were no politicians on TV telling you how special you were. There were no classes in college telling you how it is somebody else's responsibility to take care of you. Every single human that survived long enough to send their DNA into the future learned a very important rule. One that is VERY RARE today. One that little kids back then were FORCED to learn. The rule? If you don't kill, you don't eat. Back then, all successful humans had to DEFINE their worth to the tribe on a daily basis. The BETTER you provided REAL VALUE to the tribe, the more they valued you. Nobody could just "decide" to be valuable or special "just because." Now, this may be offensive to many people. And that's fine. Plenty of people have ZERO PROBLEM letting OTHERS take care of them their whole lives. But as we alluded before, we STILL have these ancient instincts. So when YOU choose to take responsibility for your life, that will trigger these ancient instincts in others. Ancient instincts that say YOU are a very valuable human. Much more so than all the other entitled goofs running around. This, of course, will give you a HUGE advantage. Learn More: https://mindpersuasion.com/self-esteem/
