  1. https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/May04Post.mp4 There are two basic ways we humans fall in love. Slowly, and quickly. When it happens quickly, consider that this MUST be based on superficial ideas. Simply because we humans are so complex. And it takes a LONG TIME to get to know us. So when you meet somebody, and you fall in love with them very QUICKLY, it CAN'T be about things you know about them. But at the same time, we all have experiences having a HUGE crush on people we rarely know. How is this possible? For one, we all have a "love instinct." Or, rather a collection of "love instincts." Meaning we all have an IDEAL PERSON we are carrying around inside our brains. We also have a TON of biases. One of the most powerful for falling in love is confirmation bias. We all have a largely subconscious idea of our DREAM LOVER. And because reproduction is a POWERFUL force, this dream lover idea is VERY IMPORTANT to us. Kind of like when you are super hungry, and you're driving to a restaurant. Even if you've never been there before, you will FANTASIZE about what you will eat. Most modern humans are absolutely STARVED for love. So we have a very STRONG dream lover living in our brains. The absolute best case, dream person whom we'd do ANYTHING to be with. This is the source of one way crushes that are IMPOSSIBLE to get out of our mind. It works like this. We have this huge dream lover in our brain. We see a person who matches this dream lover. Once THAT idea wakes up, that THAT person might be our DREAM lover, our ancient instincts kick in. The ancient instincts that said we only get ONE CHANCE. This fires up our confirmation bias. Since our imaginary dream lover is UNDEFINED, and lives in our subconscious, this confirmation bias is a TWO WAY street. We find all the qualities about THEM that match our dream lover. We augment our vague, dream lover hallucination so it will more match that person we see in real life. Add in some scarcity, and BOOM! You're in love. Even if you've never talked to them. Every time you are away from THIS PERSON, your mind goes into over drive. MIS-REMEMBERING who they really are, to match your dream lover hallucination. RE-CALIBRATING your dream lover to match the real person. This is how people FALL IN LOVE. When two people feel the same way about EACH OTHER? Wars have been fought for less. LITERALLY. Luckily, there is a wonderful, powerful and hypnotic way to MOVE this process along. With anybody. Learn How: https://mindpersuasion.com/hypnotic-seduction/

  5. https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Dec17Post.mp4 Humans have tons of biases. Easy to see in others, hard to see in ourselves. Even the word, "bias" has negative connotations. When we point out, or refer to the biases in others, it's almost always negative. For example, we LOVE to point out the "confirmation bias" in others. Particularly when it comes to political arguments. Some even believe that our biases are "imperfections" in our thinking. Mistakes in our makeup. This is absolutely false. Everything about us is something that HELPED us in the past. They are only bad when we want something, and we can't get it. This just means they need to be understood. They were put there so we didn't HAVE to understand them. They were very tightly calibrated to an ancient environment. So we specifically didn't have to think. They are put there for OPTIMAL performance. And we still use our biases, to a large extent, today. For example, if you are shopping for bananas, you'll have a couple handy biases. Just the vaguely conscious thought of wanting to buy bananas will kick off a couple of "biases." One is you will have a "bias" for the produce section. Within that "bias" you'll have another "bias" for yellow things. In this example, we can see how biases are really filters. To help us find what we are looking for. Or to point out things that are dangerous. But if you still had your "banana bias" operating when you were looking for your keys, you wouldn't find your keys. (Unless they were shaped like a banana). To be sure, this is a pain. To have to take time to consciously understand things that were MEANT to be operating in the background. But that's the price we pay for living in an advanced world with all these advanced goodies. An even better way to understand and use biases is to leverage others. If you know the biases that are running on everybody else's brains, you can do some pretty spooky cool stuff. This is essentially what magicians do. And people who create optical illusions. They KNOW where our blind spots are. So they purposely create things to leverage our blind spots. So we see things that LOOK magic. You can do this with your words. Talk to people in a way that leverages their mental blind spots. Their biases. And they will think YOU are magic. They will truly believe you know everything about them. Which you can leverage anyway you like. Learn How: https://mindpersuasion.com/cold-reading/

  7. https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/July10Post.mp4 The interaction between our self-aware minds and our other "selves" can be very confusing. Especially when you consider all our biases. Some biases are based on how we perceive the stuff around us. Since there is so much data hitting our brains, we MUST sort out the noise from the signal. Some of this stuff is programmed. Snakes, loud noises, etc. Some of it is learned. Our name, any pictures of our favorite food, especially if we are hungry. We can also adjust these filters consciously. If you were specifically looking for a friend in a red dress, you'd create a "red dress filter" which would make finding them much easier. Some of our biases are time dependent. Like hindsight bias, for example. We look back into our history, and re-write things. This is to protect our ego. Which is a necessary function to help us keep looking forward with as much positive expectation as possible. Sometimes we are happily caught in a virtuous cycle. Where everything we find verifies that everything is going well. This makes us feel pretty good, which makes us act pretty good. This ACTION creates more things around us, and those things either LITERALLY help us keep feeling good, or we PERCEIVE them as helping us. Either way, we'll take it. The opposite can also happen. We feel like crap. Everything we see verified that we ARE crap. This makes us feel even worse, which changes our BEHAVIOR and that behavior has a NEGATIVE impact on our environment. Since we're always INSIDE our brains, it's hard tell what is REAL and what is being filtered and RE-WRITTEN by our biases. Even from OUTSIDE things can be chaotic. LITERALLY chaotic. There was once a guy named Lorenz. He came up with a simple system that only had four variables. This four-variable system had the same kind of behavior. Certain cycles, that once started, seemed to self-perpetuate. And these were MATHEMATICALLY impossible to predict. Mathematicians called this CHAOS THEORY. But there is a HUGE difference between these two swirling systems. The mathematical system and YOU. You can CHANGE your filters at will. You can CHOOSE to sort for ladies in red dresses. Or people wearing yellow. Our brains and filters and biases have TONS of flexibility. But nobody ever tells us this. We kind of have to figure it out on our own. But once you learn how to GAME your own system, you'll gain an incredible amount of power. It's like drifting on the ocean on a huge ship. And then suddenly finding out you've got engines, navigation systems, GPS, and all kinds of cool tools. Learn the tools, and steer your ship. Get Started: http://mindpersuasion.com/self-esteem/
