  1. https://loopvids.s3.amazonaws.com/Sept17Post.mp4 The Wire is one of the best TV shows ever. Based on the ratings from IMDB. It's up there with Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and Game of Thrones. There's a scene in the first season where a couple of young up and coming gangsters are sitting around a chess board. The two kids are using the board and the pieces to play checkers. And a slightly older kid shakes his head. He proceeds to sit down and explain how chess is played. He describes the game, and the players in term of the characters. Kings, queens, knights, pawns etc. Chess is a perfect metaphor for long game planning. Perfect for business and war. Since business, including selling drugs on TV shows like The Wire, IS war. Back when the British empire was still expanding, they had all their officers read Sun Tzu. Chess is game that follows rules. Sun Tzu wrote, "The Art of War" which is similar. But also very different. Knowing the rules is a good place to start. But within the rules are plenty of different strategies. High level players of ANY sport or game of strategies can be described, very accurately, as artists. Understanding and predicting intentions, future movements, strategies is WAY too much for our conscious minds. To play well at a high level, you need to have spent a TON of time practicing. To a very high level of unconscious competence. So you're not using logic or rational thinking. You are using feelings and intuition. Two things you'll find in art. Not logic. Human nature is vastly complex. Far too complicated to think you can follow some simple rules. Sure, you need to understand the rules. But just like knowing the rules of chess won't make you a decent player, ONLY knowing the rules of life will only get you so far. You need to know the rules. You need to know some strategies. And you need a lot of practice. This is NOT something most people like to hear. Most people want a guaranteed, step by step, blueprint for success. Sure, that's possible if you're baking a cake or making cookies. But when it comes to the massive number of ever changing variables you'll encounter when dealing with other people, you don't just need to be a player. You need to be an artist. Which requires practice, feelings and intuition. The GOOD NEWS is that so many people are too lazy to even THINK about doing this, once you get started, you'll have a HUGE advantage. 5. If you want to be successful, you can go about it two ways. One is to do what people say you should do to be successful. Another is to simply try different things and see what works. If all you did was do what people told, you wouldn't get very far. Because they would see you as somebody to easily take advantage of. Since you were always asking others what to do. On the other hand, if all you did was learn by trial and error, it may take a LONG time. Naturally, you need a mix of both. One way to "kind of" ask others what to do is not ask directly. If you carefully watch what others do, you will learn a lot. But this only gives you HALF of the story. If that. Why only half? Because if you are going to copy success, you not only have to copy what successful people do, but what they don't do. But you can't really tell what they don't do, since they aren't doing it. And you'd also have to find out what and how they are thinking. So, just ask them, right? Maybe. Because if they suspect you might be competing with them, they might not tell you everything. Imagine setting up a hot dog stand next to another, very successful, hot dog stand. Think they would tell you all their secrets? Not likely! Some things, though, you CAN figure out on your own. And some things you HAVE TO figure out on your own. When selling hot dogs, it's pretty easy. Make sure they taste good, are affordable etc. But the more complicated the "thing" is, the more you'll have to learn on your own. Generally speaking, though, MANY things have plenty of overlapping areas of success. One of those is how well you communicate. No matter what kind of "thing" you are going to do, how well you communicate will have a HUGE impact on how well you do. In fact, doing something like selling hot dogs is one thing where communication is NOT needed very much. Any other skill you learn, any other relationship you need to create, the better you can communicate, the better you'll do. And the more WAYS you can communicate, the better you'll do. So if you can not only learn, but MASTER the most difficult kind of communication, you'll be light years ahead of everybody else. Learn How: http://mindpersuasion.com/public-speaking-hypnosis/
  6. Hello George, Just a suggestion of something I'd really like is the ability to work for myself, online and anywhere. Making good money, running a successful website etc. With some freedom of course.
  7. I am new to this forum. I have been experiencing a lot of recent financial success recently. I believe the positive thinking is a huge key!. Also, I am a self employed lawyer, so I have some control over my own time and activities, and I can directly benefit from my efforts. There is an avenue for the money to make its way to me. I notice that many people I encounter work for other people and do not seem to be too motivated because they cannot see how their own positive thinking and efforts at networking will benefit them, direclty, rather than just making more money for the company. They have not put in place a way for the money to get to them. I have a solution. I can help you create your own income stream, over which you have control. It is self employment, but you will not need to quit your current job until you want to. Nor will you need to purchase a room full of inventory and try to sell it to your friends. If you are looking for a slipstream or avenue for the money and wealth you are attracting to find its way to you, then contact me. I am a real person. I am a lawyer. I promise you that I am not suggesting anything illegal, unethical, or that is not a real opportunity. You can contact me by responding to this post, becuase I clicked the link to follow it. Also, I am posting my real name and my office phone number, so do not be surprised when the phone is answered "Letsch Law Firm." I am in Iowa, but this opportunity is a nation-wide organization, so it does not matter where you are. We can visit over the phone and/or I can find someone local to you to visit in person with you. What do you want? Take some time think about that before you call. I promise you, if you are motivated, which you probably are if you are reading this forum, I can help you open a slipstream for all the money you need to get what you want, in a very short timeframe. Where were you 3 years ago? Where do you want to be 3 years from now? If you do nothing, nothing will change. Change is scary, but awesome. Mr. Hutton's program helps you that. Now that you are ready to accpet the change, let me help you step through the door. Cynthia Letsch (515) 986-2810. When you call, please tell the person who answers the phone that you are calling about making an appointment for a phone conference with Cynthia about a self employment opportunity. You will get an appointment and I will call you back.
